LIMA, Dec. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- A queer disease broke out recently in the jungle area of Imaza in the northern Peruvian state of Amazonas, killing seven people and infected 73 others, the Peruvian Ministry of Health confirmed here on wednesday.
The diseased people have shown such symptoms as fevers, general weakness, vomiting, diarrhoea and hematemesis.
The Peruvian Ministry of Health has sent medical experts to theepidemic-stricken area to diagnose and treat the patients. Enditem
